Map Your Hood Final project Take a walk through your hood, explore It, learn about It, and draw a map, as a portrait of your hood. Materials: Paper, Scissors, Pencil, Color pencil or Markers, Glue stick or Tape, and recycled materials (magazines, newspapers, wrappers, ect) Materiales: Papel, tijeras, lápiz, lápiz o marcadores de colores, barra de pegamento o cinta adhesiva y materiales reciclados (revistas, periódicos, envoltorios, etc Step 1 Find your address on google maps. Encuentra tu dirección en google maps. Step 2 Zoom into your street, Including about 5 other streets In your hood. Acercarse a su calle, incluidas otras 5 calles en su barrio. Art making as protest / SENIOR FINAL PROJECT

Here is our video lesson, the Art of protest. I would like you to create 2 works in any material you choose. These works must include text and be in response to a current events. Our zoom meeting will be time for us to talk about our feelings and express ourself however we need, we will not be focusing on art making but we can discuss your work during this time.  If you feel like you need to work on our own please email me your completed work by Friday morning. Seniors this is your final project so make sure there is layers to your work and 3-5 sentences explaining each piece.

This week we are engaging with the news, we are not going to ignore what is going around us.
